Can't wait 'till they mainstream the new 3D technologies using polarized glasses! In the meantime, here's a "traditional" split screen 3D image which gives a hint of what we have to look forward to.
Just put an index card or piece of paper or cardboard in a vertical position --and perpendicular to-- the screen so it splits the two images. This blocks your right eye from seeing the left-side image and vice versa. Then move your face about 8 inches away or so (your monitor resolution may vary so try different distances). Try to sort of cross and uncross your eyes until the 3D effect kicks in.
In this scene, the djinni decides she's going to grant her master another wish and is getting ready to sit on his face.
