Hey friends! Okay, please keep in mind this is just a beginning...but it would be great if you could go test this new feature of the site out for me.. :)

The goal is for the members of this forum to have some more social interaction with each other. It would help a lot if you could create a profile and pimp it out a little bit...so once you sign up, you will get a confirming email that needs to be clicked (just like joining the forum), so make sure you check your spam boxes!

After you've done that, please upload a pic that represents what you'd like the other members to see you as...

If you come across bugs or issues, please do let me know so I can get it fixed ASAP! This was programmed by our very own Mr. Crypt so he'll be here to answer questions as well!

There is a lot more coming, but I wanted to roll this out and start getting some feedback. You will have the ability to have your own blogs, there will be live chat, contests to win prizes, etc....all coming very shortly.. :)

Please pick some of your favorite photos and upload them to your profile. Whatever pics you REALLY love and get you off. :)

Thanks for putting in pics so fast! Minor technical difficulties here when trying to sign up. I like the idea and went to try and sign up - filled out the form but did not get the confirmation email. so check junk box and actually went through and emptied it and no email there either. Went back to the site and pretended I had forgot my password just to get the email re-sent to me and it said it sent me one but did not this time for sure because I emptied all of my email out so i couldn't delete it from junk by accident. I have another non-hotmail address I could use I'm just wondering if I should or am I being impatient (I waited less than half an hour)
I'll wait till tomorrow and check my email and this forum post and hope for the best. :)

Actually, yeah, we're having problems with hotmail. I've been testing it with a few of my hotmail accounts and for some strange reason it just won't go through to Hotmail. It's working fine with all of my other email accounts that are non-hotmail.

Microsoft is trying to force the use of a special DNS record that's supposed to help fight spam, but it's just making things more difficult for programmers (what else is new, right?).

I'm working on solving this issue though. If you want to sign up right away, however, it will work with any other email service.

BTW, the interesting thing is that I finally received one of the emails on my hotmail account about 4 hours late. I'm not sure why, but I'm guessing that Hotmail's email server is either screening emails first, or their relays are slow right now (since hotmail tested fine for the past few weeks).

I just made some changes to the email functions, however, so it might work now. I just tested, and didn't get the email right away, so we'll see in the morning when I wake up.

Let me know if you get any of the emails.

I've joined but I don't seem to be able to log in. I clicked on the activation link in the e-mail I was sent. I'm using firefox. Do I need to do anything to my firewall settings?

I'm also not sure I understand how the site works. You can create a profile so that anyone elsecan see the things you make up about yourself, and you get free pictures that you can rate. Can you do anything else? I'm not complaining. I think that's pretty generous.

Well, the site is a social networking site. The purpose isn't straight forward. It has MANY goals. Imagine it's more like a fetish version of Facebook or MySpace. And as we build more into it, the site will become a very social place for this fetish.

Fetlife tried to do this, but I honestly don't feel that it's quite robust enough yet. As we build the community, I hope to make it somewhat a hub for femdom media and social interaction.

At this point, since we need to build a solid foundation, we're focusing on pictures and user information. I'll be adding more and more user information fields over the next couple of weeks and making it so people can share more information about themselves. At the same time, we'd like people to upload pictures and what not to the site to express themselves. Right now, that seems to be going very well.

The rating system is part of the building blocks for some BIG future plans we have for the site. We plan on having contests and what not as well. John will explain more about that a bit later. But right now, the rating system is mostly just for fun until the bigger stuff gets launched.

Did the activation show that it was successful? Also, note that you must log in with the email address and password you provided at sign up, not your profile name.

To everyone, I've added a button to the images in your photo albums to make the images rateable from there so you don't have to reupload images to your rateable images folder. :)

I was thinking about doing that, actually. I need to talk to John about that. I know it's a pain to have to login each time you visit that section.

If the majority of people on here feel that they'd want that instead (which would require them to manually sign out for whatever reason), then I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem at all.

OK! I added the "Stay Logged In" check box on the login. So if you check that, it will remember your login credentials. I asked John about it and it was quite a simple answer for him "Auto log out is stupid." So, with out hesitation, I added the option to keep you logged in. :)
